Gorgeous place and lovely food.
They made up for the unfortunate first order by sending me a very delicious second order. I would order from them again. Thank you.
Updated: The first online order wasn't a good experience however Amrit made sure we get an extremely wonderful second experience and I'm happy to mention that the food was delicious and delivered in time, also thank you Amrit for the gutschein :)
The best, I tried Chicken Sebzi and it was very good.
Good food !
Nice hang out
Ordered food for delivery as all restaurants are closed during the pandemic. Surprised to find a lamb curry this good! Definitely 5/5 stars. Affordable beers. All packed very well and still warm upon delivery, the food that is. Naan bread was also a good quality.
Ambiance was good ... Food was okish !!
Big portions and kind waiters who speak perfectly both German and English.
Great service and the food hits the spot everytime
Really tasty food, and a nice atmosphere as well!
The only restaurant which maintained real taste of india. Must visit restaurant.
Not had Indian food in Berlin, its such a staple of "English" food I thought it would be hard to replicate that in Germany but the food was great. Good value and lovely flavour.
If this will be your first Indian food experience (like me) Bombay Chicken Masala is a safe choice. Very delicious and so spicy. Be careful. Enjoy.
If you want to eat Indian food in Berlin this is the place to go: delicious food for fair prices, good cocktails and a beautiful terrace. Loved it!
Had a great lunch in Amrit, Mitte. Food quality and taste is so good. Ambiance is nice. Recommend to all
Better than other amrits in Berlin. Good roti/naan, could do better with curries. Salad is not good enough. I visited twice though!
They have really improved their food in due course of time.
Vickey is the brat waiter - trust his recommendations
Great food
Drink way to strong. We had to ask to water it down. Bread was mushy. Rice was cold. Curry had no flavour and not spicy. Staff was fine. Too expensive.
Great food and service!
Best ever, Punjabi dhaba style daal and paneer naan. I found it a bit costly compare to other Indian restaurant around but looking at taste of food it's amazing. I must say quality of food and taste attracts people here and I never seen any other Indian restaurant this much crowded. I enjoyed it here. Thank you service.
You really can’t go wrong with this particular Amrit. My go to is the butter chicken and garlic naan bread. I can’t tell you whether it authentic but it is tasty and spicy enough for a Nigerian lady😉
Great food and service, beautifull ambiance and reasonable price. I also liked the cocktails. The staff behave with high respect and are always fast and available.
The experience and food was amazing, hassan was our waiter he was incredibly friendly and talkative in both german and english
Amazing atmosphere and great service! Thank you Hassan for great table service. :)
Delicious and inexpensive
Very good Indian food. Variety of dishes including vegetarian and vegan options. Fast service usually.
It was really great food with very nice waiters. Will visit again! Navjot was great and it was fun talking to him about India.
Very nice place with a good menu, good prices and very good staff. Special thanks to Vicky, a survant who gave us a very personal and pleasant fealing. I recommend this restaurant/bar 100%!
Food and service was great for the money. We had two lamb curries and their taste was fantastic. What was a bit strange were the little things like: we got our starter before the drinks, there is a cleaning lady asking for money when you want to use the washroom (it isn't a cheap restaurant), the smell of their candles wasn't ours at all and we had birds stealing or rice.
It is an amazing Indian Resatuarant with perfect Service und specially all the Waiters there, they feel charming on having the Guests. Vinod and Raju both are best Mangers and they have a best look at everything. The Ambiance, Quality, Waiters and Colourfull Atmosphere makes me to come again to enjoy the Food and drinks. I promise to come Again and spending the beautiful Time for small Talk with the Waiters. Thank you😍
Nice waiters, pretty cheap, very big and mostly healthy lunches (really huge lunches for like €7.5-8 and nice drinks for €3). They also bring small desert drink after the course which is also nice for me. One of the best places nearby to have a lunch.
Welcoming staff... Real taste of Indian food... Most recommended. Lovely ambience.
Restaurant decor is lovely but the food was horrible. I love indian food being an indian but the chicken tikka which was supposedly cooked in the tandoor was disgusting and moist and wet and didnt feel cookied at all like tandoor chicken should. The samosa were dry with no taste. The waiter constantly asked us NOT to order more food because we might get full. First time i heard a waiter say that. Anyway waitier asked why we didnt eat the starter and i said i didnt like the tase. Mains came prawn and panner. was ok again no taste. Most blanded indian restaurant i have ever been to. Chicken was appalin and service wasnt great either. I had to ask three waiters to get me a beer.
If you like authentic Indian food, you should without a doubt check out this restaurant. It’s an extremely large restaurant so it’s very rare to not be able to find a table. I’ve tried the butter chicken, and the chicken curry, both very delicious. There’s plenty of food so you won’t be going home hungry. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
Interesting dinning experience. The atmosphere is very relax, include the service as well that you have to be very patient. Very natural environment, funny watching birds carrying food, even try to steal our rice. The food was delicious, enormous outside dining area is perfect for this pandemic period.
Very nice environment and specially ver nice and cheap cocktails. Wide variety. Food is also quite nice.
Always an amazing experience visiting Amrit Mitte :) Special thanks to Vicky Bhai for ensuring the best service whenever I visit the restaurant with my friends :)
We liked the comfy outdoor seating area and the service. The palak paneer was better than many we had in Delhi. But our minds were completely blown by the Tandoori Dhaba Dal. One of the best vegetarian dishes I've ever had. Hard to cook at home because it's slow-cooked in a tandoor, so we have to come back :)
Amazing atmosphere! 🤩
Reliably excellent Indian food.
The food was great and the service was excellent. The wait was very polite and helpful. Best Indian restaurant in Berlin imo.
I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere
Best Indian food in Berlin
Great food
Great
If you wanna eat a good mutton rogan josh then yes Amrit is a best place a bit crowded but you will find authentic Indian food there. For indian tourist i must suggest you should ask waiters to make it more spicy because dishes are ready as per the indo-european taste and that is not really spicy. If you are not a meat lover then i suggest you to try Kadhai chicken its really tasty and rice is a good compbination with it.
This restaurant is nicely themed representing North Indian cuisine. It has a nice mix and variety of dishes. In my opinion, it could be improved, both the food and the ambiance. Ambiance feels old (not in a traditional sense) and dishes could use more skilled chefs who have cooked before while residing in India. Prices are above normal, but the quality doesn't reflect that.
